As we move into the warmer months, Shoreview residents can look forward to a variety of community events designed to bring people together and celebrate the season.
Shoreview Farmers Market
Starting on Tuesday, June 2, the Shoreview Farmers Market will open its doors to the public. Located in the lower level parking lot at the Shoreview Community Center, the market will operate every Tuesday afternoon from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM through September 1. Visitors can expect a wide array of local products, including fresh produce, baked goods, and handcrafted items. This is a great opportunity to support local vendors and enjoy the best that our community has to offer.
Summer Concerts in the Commons
Music lovers will be delighted to know that the Summer Concerts in the Commons series is set to begin on Wednesday, June 10. These free, open-air concerts will take place every Wednesday evening from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM at the Haffeman Pavilion, located behind the Shoreview Community Center. The series kicks off with a performance by the Shoreview Northern Lights Variety Band, a top-notch community band known for their engaging performances. Attendees are encouraged to bring a chair or blanket and enjoy an evening of great music and good company. Well-mannered, leashed dogs are also welcome to join the festivities.
These events provide wonderful opportunities for residents to connect, enjoy local talent, and make the most of the summer season. Mark your calendars and plan to join in the fun!
