As we transition into the warmer months, Shoreview is gearing up for a series of community events that promise to bring residents together for music, fresh produce, and local goods.
Summer Concerts in the Commons
Starting June 10, the city will host free, open-air concerts every Wednesday evening from 7:00 to 8:30 pm at the Haffeman Pavilion behind the Shoreview Community Center. The lineup features a variety of talented local musicians, including Shoreview’s own Northern Lights Variety Band, the renowned Red Bull Band, lively dance bands, and popular tribute groups that bring favorite hits back to life. Attendees are encouraged to bring a chair or blanket and enjoy the music with friends and neighbors. Well-mannered, leashed dogs are welcome, provided owners clean up after them.
Shoreview Farmers Market
Beginning June 2, the Shoreview Farmers Market will be open every Tuesday afternoon from 3:00 to 7:00 pm through September 1. Located in the lower level parking lot at the community center, the market offers a variety of local products, including fresh produce, baked goods, and handmade crafts. It’s an excellent opportunity to support local vendors and enjoy the best that our community has to offer.
